My Philosophy I believe life is more fun and fulfilling when things have their place. That’s why I am passionate about helping you find answers and solutions to help clean up, clear out and lighten your load! I work closely with you to understand your needs and then create a custom solution to help organize your home, your work and your daily life, so you can focus on the important things in life.
I understand there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution for my clients. So, I approach each project and situation with flexibility and stay open to all possibilities to create the best organizing solution for you.
As an active member of the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), I continue to learn new ways to serve clients. Through continuing education, appren-ticing, and several years of hands-on-experience I have refined my expertise in organizing homes and home offices for my clients.
My Story
My organizing passion began as a child when my mother signed me up for a course called the “Sears School for Young Charmers.” Hosted by Sears (yes, the department store), the Charm School turned out to be a really great program complete with a notebook that covered everything – from manners to nutrition, good hygiene to makeup, fashion sense to common sense. What really struck a chord for me was the fashion section on how to create a basics wardrobe. Organizing a simple yet versatile wardrobe made perfect sense – and it laid the foundation for my organizing style. (I also still have that notebook in my attic in a mementos box!)
Like that course, my organizing approach balances creativity and practicality. Part of me is very ordered, organized and structured; another part is very impulsive, visual, flexible and open to new possibilities. And that’s how I work with my clients. I can be creative and fluid, yet at the same time I work in a purposeful fashion that helps my clients move effectively from point A to point B. Since no two clients are alike, I remain flexible with people and situations in order to find the best solutions that work for each person.
My Right Brain/Left Brain thinking has served me well whether it was working with a large Fortune 500 consulting firm, organizing events at my children’s schools, hosting dinner parties, or coordinating volunteer efforts with nonprofit organizations. As an antique lover and avid recycler, I know the value of repurposing furniture and collectibles to give them new life and usefulness. And as a “silent partner” in my husband’s 25+ years of ministry, I have gained insight into the lives and hearts of others.
I have observed everyone has a story and in listening to these stories, I bring compassion and understanding. Whether it’s helping you downsize, reorganize, or find a way to repurpose family heirlooms or “artifacts,” I would love to hear YOUR story. Together, we’ll discover solutions so your things have their proper place in your life.
